Plandra ("we", "our", "us") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the Plandra mobile application ("App") and website.

We only collect data necessary to provide the Plandra service:
- Account Information – Name, email address, and profile picture you choose to provide.
- Event Data – Event names, dates, locations, participants, and related content.
- Location Data – Only if you choose to share your real-time location with event members. This data is stored within Firebase and visible only to members of the event where location sharing is enabled.
- Photos & Media – Only if you choose to upload photos to an event. Photos are shared only with event members.
- Phone Contacts – Only if you choose to invite friends via your phone's contact list. We do not store your contact list on our servers.
- Technical Data – Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and service improvement.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data exclusively to deliver and improve the Plandra service:
- To create and manage your account and events.
- To enable features such as polls, checklists, location sharing, cost splitting, and photo albums.
- To send notifications related to events you are part of.
- To store and process data using Firebase services (Database, Storage, Authentication, Hosting).
We do not use your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We only share data with trusted service providers necessary for the operation of Plandra, specifically:
- Firebase (Google LLC) – For secure data storage, hosting, and authentication.
All data processing by our service providers is in compliance with GDPR and CCPA.
5. Data Retention
If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days. Some backup copies may remain for an additional short period due to automatic backup processes but will be permanently erased.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to certain processing activities.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
