Plandra – Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Plandra mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, using the Service, or clicking "Accept," you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Language: The Swedish version controls. Translations are for convenience only.

1. Service Description

Plandra helps groups plan and run private events. Features may include: invitations via phone number/SMS, feed/chat, polls, checklists, expense sharing, schedules (including calendar integrations), photo albums (some features may be premium), and time-limited location sharing within an event. Plandra currently offers private events only (no public events).

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Third-party services/SDKs may change over time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

3. App License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app in accordance with these Terms and applicable app store rules. You may not resell, rent, reverse engineer, circumvent security, or use the Service in violation of law or these Terms.

iOS addendum: For iOS, use is additionally governed by Apple's Standard EULA. In case of conflict, Apple's EULA controls for iOS-specific matters. Apple is not responsible for support or third-party claims beyond mandatory law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this clause.

Android addendum: Purchases and distribution via Google Play are also subject to Google's terms.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

You retain rights to your content. You grant Plandra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and distribute your content only as reasonably necessary to provide the Service (e.g., show content in events, create backups, detect abuse, enable sharing to participants).

We will not use your content for marketing without your explicit consent.

You are responsible for having all necessary rights to the content you upload and for ensuring it does not infringe any rights or laws.

5. Zero-Tolerance and Moderation

Zero tolerance applies to, including but not limited to: unlawful content or incitement; harassment, threats, hate; material that exploits or depicts minors; doxxing or invasion of privacy; spam/invite spam; fraud; malware; circumvention of restrictions; copyright violations. We may—at our discretion—remove content, limit features, or suspend/terminate accounts without notice upon violations or risk of harm.

6. Location Sharing

Location sharing in Plandra is always voluntary, manually enabled, and time-limited. It occurs only when you actively switch it on and for the limited duration you choose.

Disclaimers: Location data may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Do not rely on Plandra for safety-critical situations, emergencies, precision navigation, or monitoring individuals. Never share your location with people you do not trust.

7. Invitations, SMS, and Contacts

Invitations may be sent via SMS using third-party provider Twilio. We process only the data strictly necessary to send SMS invitations. Plandra covers the cost of sending invitation SMS and will not charge you any SMS fees.

You represent that you have consent to contact the people you invite and that you comply with applicable anti-spam rules. Abuse (e.g., mass SMS without consent) is prohibited.

8. Payments and Refunds

Some features may require one-time in-app purchases (IAP). Prices may change. Payments and refunds are handled by the applicable app store (Apple App Store/Google Play) and their terms apply. We do not provide refunds beyond what is required by applicable law or the platform's policy.

EU consumers: Where digital content/service is delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal may cease upon your express consent; where required, the app store flow will capture such consent.

9. Intellectual Property

The app, the Plandra brand, logos, design, code, text, graphics, and other materials in the Service are owned by Plandra AB or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party rights (e.g., map and calendar data, emojis, SDK components) belong to their respective owners.

10. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The Service may use Firebase (hosting, auth, database, etc.), Google Maps/Places, Google Calendar API, Twilio (SMS), Crashlytics (debugging/diagnostics), and other third-party services added over time. Their terms and privacy policies may apply in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for third-party services and make no warranties regarding their availability.

11. Infringement Notices (Takedown)

If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, contact support@plandra.com and include: (1) identification of the work/right, (2) where it appears in the Service (URL/screenshot/event), (3) your contact details, (4) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and (5) a statement that the information is accurate. We may request additional information and act at our reasonable discretion.

12. Account Deletion and Data

You may close your account at any time. To preserve functionality for other participants, content within shared events may persist (e.g., polls, checklists, posts), but authorship will be anonymized. Events you created are not automatically deleted if others have joined. See our Privacy Policy for more on deletion and retention of personal data.

13. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to: (i) violate law or others' rights; (ii) collect or publish personal data without a lawful basis; (iii) attempt unauthorized access; (iv) disrupt or overload the Service; (v) circumvent technical limitations; (vi) develop a competing service through unauthorized scraping/extraction.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law (including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement).

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (if the app was used without charge: capped at a reasonable amount).

Events and real life: Plandra does not organize your events and is not responsible for accidents, disputes, costs, contractual relationships, or other consequences among participants.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this clause.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plandra and our employees/partners from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, law, or third-party rights.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post a new effective date and may notify you in-app. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance. For material changes, we may require re-acceptance at next sign-in. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete the app.

17. Support and Communications

You can contact us at support@plandra.com. We provide no service-level commitments and will respond when we can. Communications may occur electronically (in-app, email).

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the Stockholm District Court. EU consumers may also contact ARN (the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes) or use the EU ODR Platform. Mandatory consumer forum rules override this clause.

19. Miscellaneous

20. Privacy

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy (contact: privacy@plandra.com). That policy is separate from these Terms but forms part of your agreement with us.
